"Tried East End Annie's for the first time. Had the breakfast sandwich with home fries and a coffee. Blown away by how good it was. Egg, generous amounts of back bacon, cheddar, fresh tomato and lettuce, served on a fresh baked flaky biscuit - it was amazing. The home fries were equally good. I have to admit, I was initially skeptical. With its take-out-only setup, lack of parking, and established competition nearby, I wondered how East End Annie's would fare. But if they keep putting out food of this quality, they've got a winning concept. Welcome to the ' hood, Annie."

"Have been back twice, chicken Caesar wrap is best in town. Fries perfectly done and well seasoned. Just had the bacon buddy breakfast sandwich, also really great. Home fries possibly even better than the regular ones but both are very good. Owner is super kind, a great chatter, and remembered me from my last visit. Glad to have popped in, new staple spot with great hours."

"It was the use of the word "phenomenal" to describe the bacon buddy sandwich that brought me in to try East End Annie's. The sandwich was indeed phenomenally delicious. The home fries were also very tasty and flavourful. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I treated myself to a scone as well which was precisely what a scone should be, buttery and flaky layers of tasty goodness. I couldn't resist the mini deep dish cherry pie and was extremely glad I did. It was perfect! Evry bite of crust and filling were amazing. Co-owners Billy and Alicia are friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit and will for sure stop by to see what the days delicious features include."

"Stumbled across this little shop, almost quite literally, as I was walking by. Absolutely amazing owners, coffee and food. They bake and cook everything there. The coffee is locally roasted and ground. It's really, really good. The baked goods are even more delicious. The cinnamon buns (did I mention they were baked that morning) were superb. But for me, the homemade scones were hands down the best I've ever had. Unfortunately they were out of pretty much everything else, as I got there just as it was closing, but based solely on that scone, I absolutely will be going back. They open at seven (although right now they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays), so if you need a coffee and homemade, fresh breakfast that isn't Tim Hortons, pop into this local independent coffee shop. The only downside is that there's no seating area. It's all take out. And have to add that the owners are very outgoing and friendly. Alicia and Billy were a pleasure to talk to. Wonderful people."

"Came for the coffee, stayed for the food and the people! I asked if they could help with daily meals during a heavy work stretch and learned they have more than 25 years of catering experience!! You can taste it in every bite, incredibly fresh, deeply flavorful, and genuinely nourishing. I was going through Google reviews earlier and completely understand the perfect five-star rating. If I could hand out Michelin stars, Alicia would have one! Truly a hidden gem. One review will not cover the whole experience, but here are a few highlights I keep coming back to the phenomenal: the best pasta I have ever had, silky and perfectly seasoned; a vegan wrap that became my daily go-to, bright and balanced; oats piled with fresh fruit from Kitchener Market; jerk or smoked chicken with mashed potatoes that are unbelievably creamy; and an off-menu pizza that is the best I have had in town!! They also made me on-demand comforting Canadian classics, including a peanut butter and jelly sandwich made like an authentic lunch-box favorite, not on the menu!! Alicia, the owner, is super welcoming, attentive, and super dedicated. Alexis and the team are so wonderful and kind. They greet you by name, make sure you are fed, and keep everything running beautifully. Around here, locals know them by name and for their quality. Every coffee on the menu is excellent! I am a two to three cups a day regular here, and if you want something different, try the chocolate latte or the iced strawberry delight tea (my new favourite) Some of my favorites are not even on the menu, created just for me, which says everything about the care here. If you want great food, warm hospitality, and true locals supporting local, this is your spot. 100/10!!"

"Found this place while searching for places to eat for lunch. Boyfriend being a bread lover and both of us loving coffee we decided to give it a try. We were greeted by two lovely ladies and welcomed. Even the cook approached us with a friendly welcome. They asked if we had been before and made some recommendations. We picked up for my MIL and what she wanted, that she found online was not on the menue . They still made it for us. We ordered two poutines, a bacon breakfast sandwhich that came with a side of home fries , and two drinks. They chatted with us the whole time we were there while preparing our order. As we were there we also watched them take out fresh bread and cheesecake. We took our order back to my MIL and let me tell you we will be returning. The food was flavourful , plentiful , tasted fresh, staff was excellent , and it was probably one of the best poutines we have had in a very long time. Home fries were crispy and flavourful. The croissant was soft and fresh. Portion sizes I’m point! Highly recommend this hidden gem in kitchner."

"East End Annie’s is a hidden gem for hearty, homemade comfort food — with amazing vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, all available for takeout only — perfect for cozy meals at home. We started with the Mad Apple Parmesan, a longtime vegetarian favourite now newly released as vegan! Choose between classic mozzarella or vegan mozzarella — either way, it’s rich, flavourful, and deeply satisfying. The Chick Norris Burger was a knockout: lightly breaded, marinated for 24 hours in buttermilk, and stacked with creamy housemade ranch, dill slaw, and hot butter buffalo sauce. Crunchy, tangy, and spicy — every bite hit the mark. To hear more about this review, follow us @eatinontario on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, & Facebook."
